Some Quick Wii Fit Hula Hoop Tips
Don’t move your hips so rapidly as you do when you are really hula hooping. It’s more in the feet than anything!
Try to move your feet in a circular like motion while keeping them on the board at the same time
If a hula hoop is coming from the left, I will take my right foot off of the Wii Balance Board. And if it is coming from the right, I will take my left foot off - which ever way the hoops go, you have to lean that way
I did notice a momentary delay when trying to catch hoops. My own solution to this was to momentarily pause and start leaning pretty much as soon as the hoop is thrown. This can be tricky when both Miis are indicating they’re going to toss the hoop to throw you off.
It is all about weight shift, not arm movement. You don’t have to move your arms at all. Just shift your weight toward the tossed hoop.
Have fun
